What happens when the universe stops ignoring Earth? When the first test comes, humanity answers. But passing the test is only the beginning. Now the real question is… what comes next?
A story in the The Human Nexus Universe
One night between midnight and six AM Eastern, most of the people of the world died. No one knew why; there was no warning; they simply stopped. Some survived to live a few extra hours or days. In the USA, this meant that most folks died in their beds. Streets, roads, and bridges remained mostly open. In other parts of the world, the timing was such that the visible carnage was horrendous. For the dead, neither situation mattered a whit. After a week, humanity was dead - all but a very few.
A Story in the Hoot Universe
(3) Hoot, Child, and the Colonel travel on Proto to meet and explore the Alliance. This story will eventually dovetail back into 'How Hoot It Is.' Codes reflect possible content and will be added as the story continues.

A story in the Mage and Magic Universe
Tom Palance's life was in the gutter. He'd walked out on his bitch of a wife. At work, he got scammed and the boss had fired him. While staying at his brother's house and borrowing his sister-in-law's car, he'd dented the roof. Now staying at a hotel, he looked at the total "suck" that his life had become, and then, something changed. For the better? Time would tell. COMPLETELY GRAMMAR CHECKED. / (Reviews)
Our hero Carter Dawson awakens as a telepath and mind controller. He struggles to survive in this new world. This is a reposting of my rewrite of the original story. (even with the codes, people voted the story down because of the sex, so I turned voting off) / (Reviews)
Britney McMasters' MORFS universe
Eric thought he had it all a loving family and a wonderful girl friend. However when MORFS changes him he finds out first hand how often appearances can be deceptive.
This belongs to the Asteroid Apocalypse genre. A retired Seabee captain keeps a large crowd alive during a 10-year vigil waiting for the earth to recover. I've modified it to reflect a more readable ending and correct many grammar/punctuation errors 2/7/09. I thank you all for paying attention to my little children.
Grace is feeling rootless and a little vulnerable as she starts a new school in yet another new country. Small, emotional and young for her age, it doesn't help when on Day 1 a pushy older boy is after her - and not just because she's pretty. He seems to think she might know about 'some weird animals that have arrived'. From space?? Just because her mum is a rocket scientist...
