Since I wrote 'Lost Wife' I've been think about the stories my wife told me all those years ago. Now I think there was more than a grain of truth in them all. The three guys in the Supermarket car park story was told and re-told a number of times and not all the details matched. Well I have spent some time on this particular story and have put all the elements together and come up with what I think is the best and most accurate account

Tom asked Debbie out on a date when they were in high school. She was too shy and turned him down. He dreamed about her for years after that and several years later, Tom met Debbie again and this time things were slightly different.
After an American tourist does a flip-flop with a Brazilian male prostitute on a fishing yacht, a fourteen-year-old Brazilian boy, claiming that fourteen is the age of consent in Brazil, lets the American tourist ball him too in exchange for a fake gold Rollex watch. The tourist comes back to Brazil with a dozen fake gold Rollex watches and proceeds to have a ball balling fourteen-year-old Brazilian boys.

I suddenly decided to go home for the weekend, but I clean forgot to call ahead and warn Mom. (This is a much shorter version of "Spring Break in New England"; it doesn't contain any of the suspense and angst. A nice easy read, I hope.)
