DoOver Stories

A Hindsight 20/20 Story
A continuation of Book one after Britt has graduated college. Book two picks up at the beginning of his new career.

A Variation On A Theme Story
Five years have passed in Steve's new life. Freshman year of college is behind him and his friends, and they're off to England for a major trip. Along with that, they're increasingly acknowledging their influence on the world and the ways they can change things - hopefully for the better. Engagements are on the way, and old friends are returning. What will this year bring? Public comments are enabled; see the Foreword.

Patrick O'Malley, a middle-aged former musician, is quite happy with his life as a twice-divorced, middle-aged playboy. Suddenly, he finds himself sent back in time. He also discovers that things are not quite the same this time around. The "violent" code applies only to a single incident. The FF is implied and happens off-screen.

A "Transmogrification of Jacob Hopkins" Story
Winner 2020 Clitorides Award for Best Erotic Do-Over. It's a whole new world now that Jacob and all his pod except Cindy have graduated from high school. The National Service can't wait to have Marvel and Hopkins on the road as a deputation team, talking about life in the service. But not everyone is happy with their message of reform and some will stop at nothing to make sure it won't be heard.

A Deja Vu Story
New challenges face Peter as he continues to forge ahead towards his destiny. With new burdens, terrible enemies, and the stigma of his color and disability, he must navigate a treacherous path to achieve his destiny while protecting those he loves from a sinister evil that threatens their very existence. There are some things money can't buy.

A "Transmogrification of Jacob Hopkins" Story
Joan left for National Service without saying goodbye and now the pod is struggling to right itself from shock. But there's no time to sit around as the crew moves into summer. Jacob agreed to help Desi's parents at the cons and Ren Faires this summer. So why shouldn't everyone tag along? Sounds fine until Cindy and her mother decide they need to go along, too. It's all a setup for strange things to happen during junior year! Starts where "Double Time" left off at Part IX, chap 99.

A Twice Lucky Story
If you knew then what you know now, how would you act?

A Variation On A Theme Story
Almost four years into his second life, Steve and friends are off to college. Graduation has sent old friends off in various directions; a new school brings new faces and new challenges. In addition, there's the wider world of business, investments, politics, and much more. How will they adapt to this new environment - and how will the world adapt to them? Likely about 500-600,000 words. Posting schedule: 2 chapters/week (M/Th AM) for now. Note: Public comments are enabled; see the Foreword.

The Eridani Federation established, Matt and crew now must face new challenges and find new allies. Note: Unless you've read Retreads part 1, understanding part 2 will be a problem.

A Variation On A Theme Story
Nearly two years after getting a second chance at life, Steve enters Junior year in a world diverging from that of his first life. He's got a steady girlfriend with hopes for the future, a sister he deeply loves, an ever-increasing circle of friends - and a few enemies, too. With all this comes new opportunities, both personal and financial, and new challenges. It's sure to be a busy year! Likely about 550,000 words. Posting schedule: 3 chapters / week (M/W/F AM).
