This is the story of a man who goes back in time after getting killed in 2006. The story itself is slightly different because he does not go back into his own self, but rather his soul takes over the body of a teen that died of sniffing glue in the early 70s. His time travel parallels his own life, and he even meets himself (in his old body) in the process.

What did I like about the story? I think, like many do-over stories, it holds a lot of potential. What didn't I like? The author takes the opportunity to show 1 year following the reincarnation of the MC. In the process, the MC has sex with so many different women that you need a notepad in some cases to keep track of who's who. The story also seems to jump around from time to time, with the author telling us about what a particular relationship will accomplish 20 years down the road, or who will die in a couple of years, but then goes straight back to the normal timeline with the normal interactions between the characters. Add to that the fact that it takes all but one chapter to cover the one year in the MC's timeline, then we are given a snapshot of the MC a few years down the line, and I have to give the plot on this a B-minus (7). I am hoping that many of my concerns regarding the story and its continuation are addressed in the sequel.

The number of grammatical mistakes, missing words, or extra words that appear from time to time, combined with the crazy timeline jumps, make this worthy of an average grade, or C in technical quality (6). For appeal to me, and please remember this is a personal appeal, I also give it a B (7). It is above average, but can improve. The story holds enough promise to make me want to read more, particularly if some of the technical issues in the story get resolved. Near the end of the story, the author seems to have grasped the ability to not go into excessive detail in every single sex scene, but out took a long time to get there. I found myself skimming past some of them, looking for the story that was in between the sex scenes.

Sometimes a man who loves his work, his wife, and his life are treated badly by an act of fate. Now this poor guy watches the storm clouds roll in, and standing way out in the open he never felt the killing strike of lightning that sends him off into Jake's brain dead body.
When his mind clears he finds himself back in the seventies in the body of a fifteen year old glue sniffer, with the opportunity to make amends for the life that was his prior to his renewal! I've read this story a couple of times, and I appreciate the convoluted plots, and sub plots in Joe J's story.
Enjoy!

In "Twice Lucky", we read about a man that dies in 2003, and awakes in 1971 in the body of another person, a teenager, and with no real memories that the teen would have had. Read along as Jake makes his way towards the future with his new family.

The sex in this story is frequent and often enough to singe your monitor or keyboard. Almost all of the initial scenes with each girl/woman are hot, and the later ones are often kept to mentioning it happened. This story has very strong stroke appeal. One sex scene was ruined for me by a bad hymen placement, being an inch or more inside the girl's vagina.

Most of the female characters are predictable after a bit. They are all multi-orgasmic. They almost all want it in the ass. They are all comfortable with him having multiple lovers. Even the MDom portion is pretty comical, as if he even looks at most of the women with a sense he is upset, they become completely submissive to him. With only some spankings and mild bondage, the whole MDom itself was fairly tame, and usually not very erotic.

The plot itself is not very strong. Very little goes wrong for the protagonist. He beds almost every woman he ever meets, and every one he sets his sights on. Most of the women don't really have an explanation for why, they just do. Most especially his sisters, who go from fearing him when he wakes up, to fondling him a few minutes after the "new" Jake apologizes for how the "old" Jake had treated them. From that point on, they are flirting/hitting on him. His mother acts the same way, all for no apparent reason.

There is a very real feel of the author "winging it" instead of working with a firm outline. All too often, the author decides to tell us how the character turns out in the future. Hearing that Liz dies of cancer a few years down the road, then having her be in the next chapter as a sexual partner, just didn't work for me. The same generally held true for other "forshadowing" parts.

Technically, there are only a few errors, and none that pushed me away from the story.

This story's major problem is the lack of conflict, the fairly predictable female characters, and the fact that it was far too long for what little story was told.

If this story was broken up into parts, the stroke value alone would catapult it into excellence. As it stands, the lack of a strong plot and characters wasn't sustained by the excellent stroke value.

If you are looking for very good stroke and not much of a plot, this is great stuff. If you wanted a great plot with some hot sex thrown in, you will be disappointed. I kept hoping for more plot and better characters that I could care about, and so I was disappointed.

This story (and it's sequel) are sure to be one of the best stories you'll read anywhere. Let alone this site. The author started out with a 'rough idea' and had enough of the elements in his own head and heart to show us as the reading public, how much care and love for the characters he really has. The sex in the story is excellent. Some of you will definitely fall in love with his women. (My favorites being Erica, Debbie and Luisa...u gotta read it to know who they are)

It's fiction but well thought out and well written fiction. If you like 'good feeling' stories, this one is definitely a "MUST READ".

I gave this a 'stroke' score of 9 because in all actuality, as excellent as the sex is in the earlier parts of the story, the story itself matures quite nicely and keeps you wanting more. Simply put...AWESOME!!!

Great work Joe!

Aloha!!!

All readers will enjoy this story. I waited and waited for the chapters to be completed. This story is now done and the author is now working on part 2.

There is a high amount of sex in this story, and the story never gets lost in the sex.

The plot is excellent and is very original in my opinion.

I have given this story a overall score of 10, and all I can say is that I am sure that anyone who reads it will like it for all the excellent qualities it has.
