Grey Wolf: Stories

This is not a story. This will eventually be an appendix to Variation On A Theme, Book 1, but for now it's easier to post as a separate story. This should give you enough to understand the Debate references in VoaT. In fact, it should give you more than you need. I don't expect people to be experts; very little of the story involves 'nuts and bolts' information. But if the terminology or abbreviations are confusing, this should help.

What if you had a second chance at life? Steve finds himself fourteen again, with a chance to do things differently. He quickly finds this new world isn't quite the same as the first time around. Can he make the most of this opportunity, and what does that even mean? Family, friends, love, growth, change, loss, heartache, sadness, recovery, joy, failure, success, and more mix and mingle in a highly character-driven story that's part do-over, part coming-of-age.

It's been just over a year since Steve found himself 14 again, with a sister he never had and a life open to possibilities. A year filled with change, love, loss, happiness, heartache, friends, family, challenges, and success. Sophomore year brings new friends, new romances, new challenges. What surprises and adventures await Steve and Angie and their friends?

Nearly two years after getting a second chance at life, Steve enters Junior year in a world diverging from that of his first life. He's got a steady girlfriend with hopes for the future, a sister he deeply loves, an ever-increasing circle of friends - and a few enemies, too. With all this comes new opportunities, both personal and financial, and new challenges. It's sure to be a busy year! Likely about 550,000 words. Posting schedule: 3 chapters / week (M/W/F AM).

Almost three years into his second life, Steve and friends embark on their senior year. Last year came with changes and challenges large and small, to friendships, relationships, and - increasingly - the world at large. With this year bringing legal adulthood and graduation, major changes are inevitable, but what unexpected encounters and new directions are lurking? Likely about 650,000 words.
