Samantha has just finished a 4 month stretch at a fire tower in the Canadian Forest. On her way home she literally lands in the Canadian Outback and is forced to survive on her own. But winter is nearing and she is not prepared for it. Then she stumbles upon a house in the woods, occupied by a handsome hermit. Can she convince him to let her stay and will she be able to leave unhurt?

Set in a fictional world but (hopefully) historically accurate to the Germanic tribal era, with some Viking bits thrown in.

This all happened long ago with my boyfriend and his mom but still ranks as one of the most surreal experiences of my life. Little did I know then how it would influence me later in ways I never imagined. Some people have expressed their doubts as to whether this really happened. Halloween 2024
On a band trip to New Orleans he stopped into a hole-in-the-wall shop, where an old woman offered to sell him a little bottle of Love Potion #9. He was a high school student who had a crush on his geometry teacher and, just for fun, at the Halloween dance, he spiked her punch. Except instead of only two drops, as the old woman had instructed him, his nervousness caused him to dump half the bottle. It was the best Halloween night of his life, and October 31st was never the same again.
