One of a series of super short stories. The rule is a maximum of 1000 words. "From the wild" is set in the 1700's on a plantation. The slaves were encouraged to breed, children born into slavery were cheaper than buying them in. Most often, the couples were kept separately on different plantations so that, when they did come together, a child was almost inevitable. It is an ideal theatre for the werewolf to chose her next victim.

Uncle Dick uses camping to escape his loveless home-life. Then he finds an angel to turn his hobby into something far more compelling. But his American Dream takes a dive when his younger sister has a Dream of her own.

A hypnotist uses special cigarettes to enthrall a woman and her would be rescuers. Written for a contest on another site.
