I post a story every July to honor folks who've served, and I try to focus on obscure people in each. I'm from a generation where guys returning from honorable service weren't given the credit they deserved. That was also the case with the Women Air Service Pilots—the WASPs. So, I wanted to tell the story of those brave women. The plot is a coming-of-age tale… sort of a latter-day Pilgrim's Progress—and most of the characters are real. Please enjoy…

I try to post something every Fourth, to honor those who've served. So, please let the length of this little tale be a testament to the respect that I have for all of you. This is, in-effect, Pilgrim's Progress, set in World War Two. It takes our hero on the fraught journey from youthful naïveté to adult capability via virtues that everybody in the military understand, honor, courage, and commitment. The war crime at the center of this happened, even if the payback is in my imagination.

The cross-hairs of my sniper scope was lined up on her face and I started to squeeze the trigger. Suddenly, she looked directly at me. She was in a situation that should have terrified her, yet I could see no fear in her eyes. I could see anger, defiance and then a look I could only call relief. She gave a half-smile, then nodded her head. Was she was telling me to shoot? It was impossible that she could know I was there, yet I felt she knew. For the first time, I failed to eliminate a target!

This is about the aftermath of war and people's sacrifices. He didn't want to leave his young wife but his sense of duty made him answer the call. Nevertheless, there are always consequences for every decision and his were very severe indeed. I try to post something every July Fourth to honor those who served. This one cuts a little closer to the bone than most. So, I hope you enjoy.

This work is the conclusion of Scout, by Warlord, an unfinished story that captured my imagination and demanded a conclusion. Whether or not my conclusion is anything near what Warlord had originally planned, I have no idea, but it is what I came up with. I realize that my writing style differs from his, but I tried to maintain as much similarity as possible for as long as possible.

This is a short (seven chapters) account of a small portion of their battle. There is some rape, but it is an integral part of the story.

He lost his two brothers and his Ma and Pa during the war with the states. But, a year after the war he returned home to find something just as precious. After returning home he found that his farm had been sold for back taxes. He homesteaded a new claim with his former school classmate

A solution to the Sa’arm problem is proposed and the humans discover that they are second-class citizens. This is not acceptable and a way out of the problem is needed. Operation Triskelion is one possible end to the Sa’arm saga but not the only one.

This is an adventure story set in a different time with lots of hard sex, BDSM, and violence (including torture and snuff). Check the codes. If you don't want to read stories like this, give it a miss. It is nasty. On the other hand, it's an interesting tale passed to me by its main character. I have read variations of the theme before but his story is different.
