Rolling out the first chapter of the new Community series.
Same characters? Check. For now
Same environment? Check. For now, again.
If my muse continues to cooperate, further chapters will follow at a more or less regular pace.
Thanks to the horde of readers who've posted encouragement, and thanks to my particularly helpful editor and to a couple of you readers who've sent me some good twists for the story to take.
Hang on for the ride. I hope to make this a part of our Happy New Year!
I again succumb to my propensity to keep three stories going. This time I'm introducing Jay and Lena, a little different, but then a a bit of the same, just like life.
And to the fifty or sixty of you who wrote me concerning the wrap-up of Community Two, thank you so very much. The kind comments are my Christmas present. I promise I will roll out the first chapter of the new story before New year's Day.
It's time to wrap up Community Too. Fifty-odd chapters is enough. Ending the story will make it eligible for the Best Stories of 2016, if you're of a mind to vote for it.
Fear not, though. I have had too much fun with Cindy and Terri and the gang to let them go our into the universe untended. There will be a new story, same characters, same universe, and I hope it will continue to hold your interest and make you want to keep reading.
I just posted the conclusion to Swamped Fox. I don't know if I'm going to kick off another story just yet. There are a couple simmering on the back burner that might be Christmas stories for the contest. I'll leave inspiration to Dorable.
In the meantime, I've got two more stories still active.
Lots of rain down here on the Gulf Coast. That means it's a good time to write.
I appreciate all the notes you folks have been sending me. Makes me want to write even more.
It's very heartening to be keeping three stories going and finding that all three are in the "Top Twenty downloads".
Keep the good thoughts going. My dear little muse, Dorable, has been very accommodating and playful. I want her to stay that way.
