I really enjoy how some of you readers get into my stories. I try to make my characters out as people you want to see to learn about.

Apparently, this works.

Several of you asked what happened to Bill 'n' Haley when the story Neighbors came to an end. When we last left them, Haley was fourteen and her mom acknowledged that Bill's relationship with her daughter turned Haley into a pretty decent young lady - "Whatever you're doing, keep doing it."

So year and half has passed, they kept doing it, and now it's time to sort of nail things down.

I do hope you enjoy it.

Dorable comes to an end.

For the first time in a long time, I don't have a replacement story waiting to start up. I'm working on Lena and Community 3 and one of you guys posed an interesting idea about revisiting Bill and Haley from Neighbors, a couple we left with her being fourteen and waiting until her sixteenth birthday so she could marry her Bill. It's intriguing. I might try that.

In the meantime, I hope you continue to enjoy the characters as much as I do.

Life intrudes, replete with travels back and forth across the country on short notice, multiple one-day and overnight road trips, and on top of everything, a stinkin' cold.

Out of it all, I just sent a chapter of Lena off to the editor and one of you folks gave me a very intriguing idea for an excursion for Cindy and the bunch in Community Three.

We'll see if my muse cooperates just a little bit.

I've had several readers write me thinking that I was ending Community 3 Sigma.

Rest assured, I am NOT ending it. There's too much story left to write in that little community.

I wonder about Kim's two aunts. What's Kara been up to? Too many questions that I'd love to answer, just as soon as the muse bonks me with her writing wand.

I've been having a bit of trouble getting my muse going. I finally managed a chapter of Dorable that I just sent to the editor, and I am looking at Lena next.

All that to say that I am still alive, still kicking, but real life intrudes.
