Chapter Three: Ring of Fire is in the queue for tomorrow morning. Richard and Smokey are no longer on active duty in a sandbox and are experienced smoke jumpers. Then their boss comes up with a bizarre job assignment.

I can tell that some of you are reading THE Harem Tales to refamiliarize yourselves with charaters. Some charaters from Mutiny on the Bunte Kuh will appear later. Not necessary to read, but for those who like to dot the i, reading this might help.

Chapter Two: You're In The Army Now! is in the queue for tomorrow morning. In it we learn a little about the couple's Army career and why Smokey sometimes calls Richard 'Sparky'.

Double Shot, will begin posting Friday morning, more than a year since my last story in the Swarm Cycle.

Several of you have asked for another story taking place on the Earth after the Sa'arm landed in Canada, and others are curious about the scorched Earth strategy described in my first Harem Tale. This story contains some history before the Sa'arm are known to be coming and mostly takes place in the eight years following the hive ship's landing in Manitoba.

This, of course, means that Aroslav's Pussy Pirates are involved. And let me tell you, it was a blast trading ideas with him.

There are thirteen chapters, all complete and proofed, and posting will be three times a week: Friday, Monday, and Wednesday mornings. The story is pretty much stand-alone, but some characters from previous stories do appear without a lot of background.

I would be remiss if I did not knowledge the essential assistance from my usual bunch plus a couple of new ones. All will be listed when the story posts - unless my horrible memory does me in... With my messed up hands and otherwise horrible typing skills, you'd otherwise be reading a total mess. And then there's their ideas and suggestions. You get the idea. They are essential!

Some of you aren't big fans of Swarm Cycle stories, but you might want give aroslav's new story The Assassin a read. It's character driven and a story that could be set in just about any 'space' universe, BUT it is also a fun addition to the Swarm Cycle.
