I'm a big fan of Vulgus. His writing is a huge inspiration to me. When I asked him if I could write a sequel to one of my favorite stories of his I was excited to get his blessing.

My brother's revenge was a short six chapter story. It left me wondering how Jeff and Lori dealt with each other after it ended.

I try to answer that question in my sequel. It's been slow going. My friend Mike has a project of his own and can't edit for me like he was. I'm sure I've got a few mistakes in the first three chapters of the sequel to Vulgus's story. Apologies in advance. If you notice any let me know.

I thought I would ask for feedback. I was being clever and start the story with Lori's recurring dream to immerse you into her psyche.

However, I think some readers were confused. It was intentional not to say 'this is a dream" at the start so when you see her awake it makes sense why she proceeds to confront Jeff.

Will you let me know how it reads to you?

I've concluded the Keeping my Sister in Line story. I have a chapter 16 but so far I am not happy with it - so it may end up as a bonus (boner) chapter.

I am still working with Fanfictionman on "Manny's Pills" - we take turns writing a chapter although we have gone a little out of order due to timing.

It's set in the TV show "Modern Family" and after Luke tries placebo mind control pills on his sisters - a chain of events begins involving hypnosis. We had to agree upon how it works in that world - triggers and conditions and the general rules of it. Then each author takes a turn.

I think we are nearing an end now though.

So - I am thinking about my next project. I have a few unfinished stories to futz with. However, I have an offer to make:

If you like my stories and want to propose some sort of setting - I am willing to try round robin story telling with you. You write the first chapter. I write the next. We take turns.
We each agree to maybe create three of the main characters independently and then create side characters as needed.

No particular setting but understand I am not particularly fond/good at writing sci-fi.

I've done fanfiction in the Goldbergs and Modern Family.
I've done fantasy in Game of Thrones.
I've done historical fiction set in 18th century Paris

But my forte is setting stories in either trailer parks and middle america suburbs in the modern period.

So pitch me an idea before you do anything and let's see if we tickle each other's fancies. I don't care who posts it. Only one of us can post to the story - so I would send you my chapter through the internal mail system.

Recently I disvovered Galtabs "central city" stories.

I have to admit at first I thought they may be generic but after reading them I really love the setting - but more so the writing.

So much so I dabbled with a fanfic "taking the kids to the zoo" based on her setting.

The part that I really enjoy is all the nuanced details. The story is never slow but it always seems to be on high definition of the world around the characters.

Always written current tense single Pov in 1st person. A difficult style for me to write but almost effortless.

I recently asked for mother's day stories. This one while set in Thanksgiving truly raises the bar even higher.

I can't say enough good things about this story. If you like what I write, you will LOVE what she writes.

Challenge to all authors this weekend.

It's Mother's day weekend.

We all need a break from bad news and so how about a good old fashioned story challenge?

Time to write a story about mothers.
It could be sweet.
IT could be sexy.
It could be about BDSM
It could be about a dominant mother who is meeting her daughter's husband for the first time.
It could be about a submissive mother who is meeting her daughter's husband for the first time.
It could be whatever the hell you want.

I am personally always curious how a lifestyle BDSM couple might approach a Holiday like BDSM. If they would make it purely vanilla or if they would incorporate some of their lifestyle into it - perhaps not sexually but along the lines of the mother having to be respectful and submissive in how she receives her gifts.

I almost never see good Holiday stories.

I am writing this story with esteemed SOL Author Fanfictionman.

You may have read his incredibly epic and salacious version of how season 8 of Game of Thrones should worked.

You might have read his "Fuller House" fan fiction?

We are taking turns writing a really fun mind comtrol story set in the TV series "Modern Family"

I don't know where he will take his chapter. So I'm just as excited to see it as you are and then I build my chapter. We continue round robin like that.

Obviously mind control requires both authors to agree on the limits of how mind control works and the general rules of conditions and triggers. We worked that out mutually.

The story begins with Luke Dunphy trying mind control tea on his sisters. The tea is placebo so when he asks them to show him their boobs they toss him out on his ass.

The vow to teach him a lesson and use real hypnosis on him. Naturally they also test it on themselves to be sure he isn't just playing along.

It only builds from there. It's a lot of fun and the chapters are short. Please check it out and give feedback.
