An Oscar Story In this case, the 'Lantern' is an architectural feature. It exists because of an ancient curse, which is finally to be dealt with. This is an 'Oscar' story, but the motorbike is a secondary element. Love, and magic, are far more important.
An Air Transport Auxiliary Story This is a prequel to 'Slipping the Surly Bonds'. Not as long or detailed as I originally intended, but it does give the background history for the later tale. Set in wartime Britain it forms part of the ATA series.

A Fold Space Story (1) A courier pilot, Hector Finch, finds himself emerging into normal space in an unknown system. The earth-type planet is abandoned except for an administrative artificial intelligence which has developed sentience... / (Reviews)
