I've just submitted chapter one of a new Fold Space episode. I have currently four chapters ready, which I will post weekly, but progress on the rest may be slow and I hope you will be patient with me! The Andromedan colony is still estranged from the United Federation of Planets, but while the colonists are unhappy to be isolated from their families on Earth, they are managing to be self sufficient. Some unusual visitors arrive unannounced, however, who will mean changes in the future.

Oops. Thank you to several readers who pointed out that fluorspar is Not spelt flourspar. (It was a typo) That and several omitted photos meant a repost, which is now in the queue. Enjoy.
I really hope I've got the submission correct. Here's a true account of an outing on my 2015 Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle, with illustrations. No memorials this time, just scenery and a bit of history.
Readers of my Dryad series may have noticed that I am fond of snowdrops. While the weather in in Midlands Britain is not actually cold at the moment - day time temperatures are about 7C, average for the time of year - we are experiencing a grey, dismal, damp period with variable rain from mild drizzle to torrential downpour. It is a consolation to see the pure, delicate, demure, white cup flowers of Galanthus Nivalis blooming among the weeds and mud. They are not the only blooms - I see primroses, primulas, even some dwarf iris (in the Botanical Gardens) - but I think they are the most beautiful. "Fair maids of February". The forecast is for temperatures to drop, with clearing skies, which is something of a relief. All the same, those little white flowers are a promise of spring.
The chapter of The Recluse I have just submitted is the last complete chapter I have. Chapter 9 is under way, but barely started and will need editing. I do promise to keep working on it. At least I do have an ending in mind! But not for at least another chapter after chapter 9. So I ask for your patience. Right now I'm heading off to work in my local library. Perhaps I'll have time to work on chapter 9.
