Delilah is back, nearly

Posted at

Followers of Sally and Jerry will remember that we left them fairly early in the Covid pandemic, though that didn't prevent them collecting a couple more kids as well as having one of their own. Delilah and Lockdown follows on, and... I'll leave you to read and follow what happens. Of course, Covid is still with us, and we may never (like flu) be free of it entirely, so with that and Mr Putin's inexplicable destruction of Ukraine, our world has changed and will continue to change. I think our heroes are well placed to weather the storm and care for their strange family. I will be posting four chapters, forming a further episode, hopefully alternate days as usual. Be well.

The Photo

A reader informed me that the link to 'the' photo is no longer active. It looks as though the site, 'Best Erotic Teens' is down (pity). All being well, a repost of the story will include a copy of the picture, which I consider well worth keeping. As far as I know, it is open source without any copyright issues.

She Walked in Beauty

A new Dryad tale is in the submission queue, the first of six chapters. I thought it was about time we encountered an elf or two, not to mention some less desirable creatures.

It's been a while, I know...

Sorry, and all that. There is, in fact, a complete 'Dryad' episode with Peter for his comments. I thought it was about time we involved the Elves in our woodland world. Should be posting soon. Additionally, I'm working on a new 'Delilah' story and actually making progress. Slowly. But I do have several nascent tales started, I just need that little nudge in the right direction (Okay, Ms Muse?). Right now, I have scaffolding up at the back of my house and I'm replacing the gutter. Wooden gutters are supposed to have a ten-year life, and this one's been up a lot more than that. (so have the others, of course). It does mean I'll be working on that for the next few weeks. Hopefully not more than the basic four weeks the scaffolding will be up, as I wouldn't like to have to pay extra to keep it longer. It's possibly a mistake, but I'm putting plastic gutter up this time; plastic, but moulded to look like cast iron. This means working out how to fix it instead of the simple way with the wood. I also want to get some extra insulation under the slate while the scaffold is up. We'll see how it goes.

Dead Car

I had, or rather my wife had, a Ford Focus Estate, dating from 2007. It's been looked after since we had it, and on the whole has served us well. Until a couple of weeks ago. Then it started overheating. I find it hard to believe that replacing the coolant pump could cost £1,100, but that's what it is. Happily, we had been thinking of replacing it with a smaller petrol car, and our hands have been forced. Dealing with it has absorbed a lot of my time, though. I am not fond of buying cars. Or disposing of old ones. Other than that, I found the beginning of a Dryad story in my oddments file, and I've done a bit of work on that. Still got a collection of unfinished odds and ends.
