I had, or rather my wife had, a Ford Focus Estate, dating from 2007. It's been looked after since we had it, and on the whole has served us well. Until a couple of weeks ago. Then it started overheating. I find it hard to believe that replacing the coolant pump could cost £1,100, but that's what it is. Happily, we had been thinking of replacing it with a smaller petrol car, and our hands have been forced. Dealing with it has absorbed a lot of my time, though. I am not fond of buying cars. Or disposing of old ones. Other than that, I found the beginning of a Dryad story in my oddments file, and I've done a bit of work on that. Still got a collection of unfinished odds and ends.

I have just submitted a short story in the Oscar series. The motorcycle is far less important than the love and magic necessary to nullify an ancient curse.
The interest shown in my series has caused me to wonder if there are authors out there who would be interested in participating in a DD universe. In particular, the effects of the Wars on other societies - the USA, Scandinavia, Southern Europe. Even Eastern Asia. Clearly, there would be differences in the response of remaining populations and in their ability to build a new 'normal'. I would really only be concerned with the British scene, as that is the only one I know well enough.
I've just submitted a new Devastation Diary entry. This one is, like 'Auction' and 'The Heir' set early in the sequence and is not directly connected (at this time) with any of the other characters. It is possible that later entries may make a connection, of course. I'll just point out that the Mdom and Spanking codes are there for transparency. They relate to the needs of characters appearing later in the entry, and are for their satisfaction, not for that of the male involved.
I'm pleased with the way this has gone so far, and happy with the feedback and comments. I will be posting a chapter a day until all eight are up as I may not be able to post next week.
