Katy is well up to Tedbiker's usual standards. Technically flawless to the best of my knowledge, I was almost tempted to score it ten for technical quality, but nothing is ever perfect. The story stands on its own, and, although the plot is fairly unoriginal, and a little predictable, this tale is well worth reading.
I do have a grumble though, we learn nothing of the relationship of the parents of the main protagonists. I appreciate that adding that to the story would probably have doubled, or tripled its length, but it would have been worth it. Maybe Tedbiker plans to write that as a whole different story, or maybe not, but the lack of that addition to the tale left me a little dissatisfied.
If, as an author, I was half as good, and half as prolific as Tedbiker I would be a very happy old Gnome. Katy is an excellent story, and I recommend that you add it to your library, along with the rest of Tedbiker's work, so you can read it again and again.
Read, and enjoy!
