Most of what I write is inspired by places, though with a little artistic licence with the geography sometimes. The people, however, are fiction, so if you think you can identify someone you're wrong. Of course there are personality quirks that can be seen anywhere!
I love to hear of your response to my stories where they've brought back a memory or struck a chord in some way.
A Dulcie Story Joe Hancock works as an agency nurse in the winter, and as a sailor during the season. He's an occasional attender at church, but then he finds an unconscious girl on the way home in the small hours of the morning. Life will never be quite the same again. The rape/non-consent is off stage and not detailed.
A Devastation Diary Story This story is set during the same period as 'Auction' and 'The Heir'. Some codes apply later in the story.('Maledom' and 'spanking' are mild and to meet the needs of the characters)
Domovinu is a small, landlocked, very backward theocracy. The Chief Elder and his Vestri permitted the introduction of some modern technology but failed to consider the implications. His policy, pushed through a minority objection, resulted in the State Reformatory where women, mostly young, who tried to protest, were sexually abused. But oppression has its own dangers...
A Son of Martha Story This is the conclusion of the story of the relationship between Jim, the Son of Martha, and Petra, the young woman who loved him and drew him out of 'nerd-dom'
An Oscar Story He's a nerd, riding a restored classic Norton. She's a Doctoral candidate, driving a classic MG with a problem. They both, you might say, have issues.
