Sometimes one can read a story over the years and finally understand to what depths a person can descend to in their quest for financial and personal power.
Others take everything the cruel world throws at them and gloriously survives. And there are others who by their sheer presence affect all those she comes into contact.
This is the case of our sweet heroine, Marsha, orphaned at the turning point of leaving childhood behind and becoming a young woman, she learns about sex at the hands of her peers, and when she is old enough to leave the orphanage, she meets up with Jerry who nearly runs her down, but instead persuades her to marry him. In her new home she meets up with Jerry's brother David the real reason that Jerry married her... to take care of this quadriplegic.
Not all what things seem to be, Marsha finds herself between a rock and a hard place, and luckily survives the puzzle of who killed the brothers' parents.
