Violent Stories

An Eternal Serpent's Tale
Third in the series. Adding to Joe's relentless work on acting and dancing under Lindy's direction, Snake brings the two mortals a new tale set in ancient times while love deepens between Joe and Snake's youngest angel, Helena. It is necessary to read this series from the beginning to understand the plot and characters and unique conventions.

Short story about a marine serving in WWII

These three stories are true. Everyone has had a few strange or unusual experiences and these are some of mine.

A story in the Disunited Front Universe
Faster than light travel and first contact has given humanity the stars - but it hasn't given us peace. With a world balanced precariously between multiple superpowers and extrasolar colonies constantly under threat from alien enemies, unknown dangers and good old fashioned human greed, the United States needs a new breed of special forces. DeShane Gallagher and her A.I companion Loki are one of them. They are Devil Troops. This is their story.

A story in the The God and the Princess Universe
Andrew's Valentine's Day plans with Princess Jen are interrupted

Bill (Snake) Hartwick is the usual war vet of 1866. He's out of a job and the only solution is to go West. These are his adventures in the army, as a wagon train scout, and as a bounty hunter. Bill is nobody to mess with, as only too many bad guys find out, especially after he takes a partner. He even has some dealings with George Custer, and we all know what happened to him. This story was written without dialect, except where I screwed up.

Kitty Anderson is a remarkable young woman of 1905 Texas. She shoots an automatic pistol and has learned to drink BEER, though not much at one time. She drives a car and, oh, yes, is a Secret Service agent. She starts out on a big case, tracking down the Knights of the Golden Circle (really, look them up). She's also a Deputy US Marshal, but that's just her cover.

Sir Daniel Pascov wanders the land as a travelling Knight, taking jobs as a mercenary. But he hides a dangerous secret in his past. Three years ago he was the Black Knight, the scourge of Appalania, the man who raped whole villages and fought whole armies. Now, for the first time, he is forced to come face to face with the results of the actions in his previous life and has to make a choice: does he deal the consequences or carry on running away from his memories.

A Sacramento Marshal Story
This is a sequel to "Leaving Independence." Eddy and Martha and the family settle in Sacramento. Eddy becomes a deputy marshal and a business man and Martha becomes a mother. Eddy does have to keep his shotgun handy, and so do the boys.
