Another of my true life Army stories, this one from my first deployment on a gate guard shift. Names have not been given in order to spare the idiot shame (plus I probably couldn't spell his name anyway)

I watch Grampa's reaction closely and confess, "My girlfriend has this book about sex. It shows what happens to men and woman when they are feeling sexy. I look at him, and ask, "Are you feeling that way about me Grampa?" He answers, "Yes baby. Oooh, if I could just touch you! Will you let me baby? I can show you another way how to feel good." I don't hesitate and squeal, "You can? Show me how!"

Believe only half of what you see and none of what you hear.

Even the best research hospitals can have odd things happen. When patients are diagnosed with unusual conditions, they don't always learn in the standard way. It is not wise to assume that odd communications are the beginning of medical fantasies. Today, we have some of my interactions, more funny than not, first at a top cardiology research hospital and then at an overloaded community hospita.
