Everyone knows that events in the past can't be altered through time travel. But can they be set in motion? Travelling back in time has become a past-time for people hungry to try the latest thrill. Dangers are ever present, which is why officers of the Time Travel Regulation Authority strive to secure our futures by preserving the past.
Calvin Michael Johnson, a nearly sixty year old man is killed in a car accident. He is given the opportunity to come back as a 16 year old and start over, he is faced with some rather large surprises and and obstacles to overcome as he discovers he is now a young black man in Detroit in the 1970's.
Jim Roberts is offered a choice he can't refuse. He becomes an agent for a far-future organization that wants to keep the Confederates from winning the Civil War and precipitating an apocalypse. This is the story of Jim's solution to the problem. 7 chapters.

They set off a bomb that caused the time machine to jump John to the steppes north of the Black Sea back during the Dark Ages. This is the story of how he became a very big fish in a medium size pond when he rescued some women from marauding nomads. Naturally, all of these women became his wives, and things kind of grew from there.
