Transgender teen Alexandra Plessy moves to Masons Peak to complete her senior year and escape her sex addicted uncle. She keeps her transgender identity secret and has to navigate the challenges of being 'the new kid'. She piques the interest of 'The Karens', three middleclass, self-centered, overly entitled bullies who are determined to put her in her place. She has to satisfy her uncle's sexual appetite whilst trying to have a stable relationship with her boyfriend.
During the summer of 1948 a boy from Boston vacations with a relative in Alabama. He meets a black girl. She's young and beautiful, and they're teenagers. The story is fiction, but based on five intriguing entries in my grandfathers journal I've always wondered about. (I changed the names though, in case something like it actually happened.)

She's a little more confident, a little more savvy than in her previous appearances, but she's still shy and inexperienced. A young man looks back at his life and lusts. Considering each of the girls and women he's known, he smiles as memories come to mind, relishing the connection and ecstasy that came with each conquest and every ounce of semen he poured between their legs. And so as his past relationships are recounted to himself and the reader, he only slowly comes to realize that maybe he really is the problem after all. Codes will be added as the story progresses.
