Jake is a growing young boy trying to make himself a cowhand at his parent's ranch. When his father makes a fuckup and lets a bull gore his horse and then get him on the ground for more of the same what is Jake to do. What the hell, he always admired his mother's looks from the start.
A long story about two people's lives, from age 5 to late-teens. It uses a series of self-contained incidents, in more or less chronological order, to demonstrate how the bond between them developed over time. Some of these incidents are of a mildly sexual nature, although there is only one, non-graphic reference to underage sex featuring one of the central characters.
Ashley Wilson had to return to her departmental reunion at her alma mater to settle a lingering feeling of guilt. She had her eyes on the offended party and wanted much more from him than forgiveness. Ashley had all the men she chose, except him. Sometimes you get what you want and then you have big decisions to make.
Pat and Blevin got off to a bad start professionally. Then, she offered the extra bed in her room when he lost his wallet at the conference. He invited her to go to Mexico on spring break and she laughed at him. Then, she accepted if they could be platonic. Their first resort was clothing optional. Pat had no intention of being platonic in Mexico.
This is a conclusion for Patricia51's story "One Slip." I think this story will almost stand on it's own, but it is intended to be read after you read her story.
