So was much of the World's population. The end had come swiftly. But a girl, out here, alone? He couldn't help himself.

A high school boy struggles with social changes of the pre-apocalyptic world, girl crush problem, and his existential crisis. He wants to be left alone and eaten alive by the alien swarm. His family and best friends try their best to sway his mind, to join the Confederacy. Will he allow it? How did they trap him?

A short, about a certain development in sexual experimentation in the future. Zero actual sex but it's all about sex, and very sexually 'charged' I would say. I don't pretend it's a classic or epic action or side-splitting humourous story, and it might not be your 'thing' but it's literate, researched and thought-out and contains an interesting concept. If you're going to give it a score of 3 or 4, you must be a smart reader, so at least take the trouble to give me an intelligent reason why.

A starship captain renders aid to a stranded traveler, he gets kidnapped and taken to a planet where he is subjected to intense pleasure. He quickly realizes that he'"and countless other men across the galaxy'"are being subjugated to provide their seed... as virile fuel for an evermore energy-hungry society.

The funeral parlor was a large operation. They processed dozens of bodies every week for final resting places. Some were cremated and didn't need the heavy duty cosmetic work to make them look presentable. Sometimes the dirty and hard work had certain benefits when pretty young female corpses were stretched out on top of the metal tables like slabs of meat ready for a night worker with a yen for the ultimate submissiveness possible.
