It's late 21st century but some things don't change too much. Laura and Amanda are two postgraduate students who share a room. Amanda is irresistibly atracted to Laura, who is too socially oblivious to realise what is going on. This is the start of their relationship, but by no means the end, as their lives will remain entwined.

A Story in the Shiny-verse Universe
This novella takes place in the Shiny-verse, covering several of the characters from the original story. A Country Boy, City Girl Story
I will admit that I did NOT write this story. I remember first seeing it on a BBS in around 1990. and the copy I have in my archive does not include any author information other than it was written by "Mistress Tawny Suede", and the phone number to a BBS long gone. But I referenced it in one of my stories, so thought others might get a kick out of an example of "Internet Porn" before there was an Internet. It is submitted complete and unedited.

This little Space Opera is a mashup of John Normanesque sociology, Stargate, and "Ancient Aliens" This is my first SciFi story, so there may be some rough edges or non-standard to the genre themes. I never know how to rate the amount of sex. I'm listing this as "Some Sex" but I think it is closer to "Some Sex, on the way to "Much Sex."

A tyro lawyer resolves to make every effort to improve his status as his New Years Resolutions. And on New Years Eve, while the rest of the firm parties, he gets a chance to see new Uptown client, a top Federal Government scientist in his holding cell. Trouble is, it all comes down to his client's resolutions. A non-erotic sci-fi story.
