Really a repost - I can only change the title by submitting it as a new story. Based on a prompt from another writer that amused me. Short and sweet. Post Apocalypse - but no zombies. A little humor and no sex. Don't want to give away the story line, so you will just have to read it for yourself. About 2 minutes! Needed to get the story to 750 words for another site, so I decided to share the new version on SOL as well.
On one random day a year, the hunters are allowed to take new slaves using a special nanotech conversion that makes a person into a willing servant for their new owner. This year, Emily didn't learn that it was hunting day until the dart hit her. Now, she is about to learn of the pleasure that comes from submission to her new desires.
