An older and somewhat wiser Steve is back from Sweden, but a LOT has changed since he left a year ago. Following a relatively calm year in Sweden, Steve's life was turned upside down again mere hours after setting foot on American soil. After clashing with his mother almost immediately, and having his trust betrayed by the one person he felt closest to in the whole world, Steve becomes emotionally adrift and starts making very bad decisions.

A freshman scholarship student is trying to define his life direction and goals. While trying to figure out where he is headed, he enjoys opportunities as they happen. This is a relationship story, bordering on a romance with sexy stuff on the way. (There are chapters with a lot of sex and some with only implied sex.) / (Reviews)

Photographer Nate Hart is halfway through his sophomore year in college and has had another round of fights with his local draft board and the crooked ex-constable who is using the Selective Service as a cover for his personal vendettas. The rest of this year will be packed with learning, models, and life with his girlfriends. And adjusting to Beth’s long absences.

Basketball season was very good to Dennis. Despite his short stature and coke-bottle glasses, the girls' basketball team fell in love with him and have all claimed him as their boyfriend. But that was yesterday. Today starts track season. Dennis has more challenges to meet, winning the confidence of the track team, stopping an unbalanced younger geek, and holding down a summer job. In the midst of that, he receives a remarkable gift and discovers he's grown.

Some are realizing their relationship isn't really for the long haul, but they are still united in their quest for the state championship.
