A young man grows up while in college. Lots of writers try it - few do it well. Great characters, solid plot lines with experiences that many of us have shared.
It's a period piece set in the 1960's in the Midwest. Chuck comes from a farm in Florida to the North for college. He meets girls - lots of them. His experiences are entertaining and, mostly, realistic.
There are some techincal faults and they occasionally get in the way. Sex is prevalent but not graphic.
