For Halloween: Twice yearly in the late 18th century, the choir master of Munich Cathedral, in Bavaria, Otto Strickler, takes a coach up to Castle Ringang in the perpetual shadow of the Alps to collect a large donation from the patron, the forever forty-year-old Baron Derick von Obertstdorf. Each time the baron requires Strickler to bring an unsullied fourteen-year-old boy angel with him for the night. It's handsome, blond, boy treble soloist, and orphan Jan Becker's turn.

Fritz, an American painter, banished to Vienna, Austria, by his fetish for fourteen-year-old boys, finds a fourteen-year-old angel in the Mozart Fountain.

Fourteen-year-old Ernst has the looks and voice of an angel in early nineteenth-century Austria. These attributes mark him inevitably to be the catamite of a rich sponsor. He is resolved to this, and is initiated by Baron Otto von Lauffen. When the boy’s voice changes, the baron transfers Ernst to an older boys’ choir and new voracious choir master. Ernst wants to be a painter, though, and meets one younger and more desirable than the baron or the choir master.

An angry princess, a smitten dragon, an unrewarded warrior, and a distressed king are all yelling at you over a prophecy that didn't come out as it was foretold.

The king wants the chef to prepare and serve a mermaid.

The King names her Princess for a Day. The day of Apriltide - the Rite of Spring. She reigns freely. "FREE REIGN" is a play on words invented on SOL by an uncelebrated poet alluding to the real idiom, "FREE REIN" which is based on controlling a deer or a horse. See also, Free Rein! on StoriesOnline.net. As I said, free reign does not exist... until today, when I found free reign the only apt expression.

This is a fantasy story I have been working on for a while, which has sort of been completed. I have been working on it for quite some time, but as you can tell, it does not yet have a name. I will work on that eventually.

In ages past, Equestria's name struck terror into the hearts of its enemies. Celestia willing, in this new era of bloody conflict, it will once again.
