She is based in Port Douglas, QLD, where her dad is the Chief Superintendent of the region. Her dad always said Dusty's middle name was 'Trouble', and trouble is what she finds. Author's Note: Due to the number of changes in this book and the new second book, I'm reposting the Dusty Series but haven't deleted the old books.

Jared Winslow is a small college football coaching legend in Vermont who waited for the opportunity to come along to move on to Division 1 NCAA coaching. This is a Western story in two parts. The Palmer Ranch with Randy and Sheila on the East end of the valley, and the Ferris Ranch with Dave and Teresa on the West end with the town of Ferris in the center. The first part will stand alone. The second part has the same stand alone quality. It tells the story of the long valley where Ferris Town draws characters from both. Some characters speak in dialect. Ignore the spelling.
