Ed's family goes to Japan and are caught in the Tsunami of 3/11/2011. This sends him into depression and he plans on eventually taking himself out. While traveling aimlessly, he meets a widow and her two children. They support each other allowing Ed to change his plan. Note: There were still 3,700 people missing on the 1st year aniversary of the disaster.

While I do my best to honor the original story of Batman, I admit that it has my personal flair in it that you may notice if you're familiar with my work. When he grew older he was thrilled with the power of explosives and studied chemistry as a way of following this path. A king facing defeat in the forth century Europe needed help.
