The origin story of Batman meant to capture the grit and spirit of the comics. This is just a fanfiction and is not meant for commercial use. While I do my best to honor the original story of Batman, I admit that it has my personal flair in it that you may notice if you're familiar with my work. I used AI to help me refine the book, but the dialogue, plot, and tone are all mine. I've always loved Batman and wanted to write my own fanfic that includes Gotham's full story and his legend. A Story in the The Trilogy and More Universe
The Saga of The Trail West and Winterborn continues.

Ed's family goes to Japan and are caught in the Tsunami of 3/11/2011. This sends him into depression and he plans on eventually taking himself out. While traveling aimlessly, he meets a widow and her two children. They support each other allowing Ed to change his plan. Note: There were still 3,700 people missing on the 1st year aniversary of the disaster.

The horndogs will have to forgive me on this one, for the lack of triple-x narration. This story is a serious attempt to explore issues of terrorism, within a sci/fi plotline.
