Fifteen year old Hector and his much younger sister, Miranda, find themselves stranded on Crossroads and the only way back home to Earth is through Chaos. Along the way they find friends and get help from the unlikeliest of allies. They also make a few enemies, as well.
They'd worked together, Jake and his 'Aunt' Cecelia, his Mom's best friend, and now all of his Mom, Susie's, stuff was taken care of. The funeral was over and it was time to settle down. Cecelia had been a part of Jake's life 'forever'; he'd been, in fact, 'in lust' with her always, it seemed. He didn't know that she felt the same way but was about to find it out, and the romance began.
Jaime was considered autistic because he never talked, though he was smart and sociable. A dark trauma haunted him: He could hear other people's thoughts. He thought he was doomed to a life of isolation until Keira spoke in his mind and told him to stop broadcasting his thoughts!
