Reluctant Stories

It's axiomatic. People will try to do the right thing if life dumps a steaming pile of moral ambiguity on them. But, the right thing isn't always obvious, especially in abnormal circumstances. So, it's important to think through all the implications before you decide. Because, hasty actions can spawn another term, "It seemed like a good idea at the time." I offer this example of dubious ethics and bad judgement to prove that point.

Maggie has her niece Kellie, and twin niece and nephew for two weeks. Cody's made everyone's life miserable since they arrived midweek. Something different is about to unfold in Maggie's backyard pool, Saturday morning, however; something no one could anticipate, or stop. It leaves Maggie and her niece's naked and confused the rest of the day; Cody, simply confused. Throw Maggie's neighbor's son Henry into the mix, and anything can happen.

Three friends finally get tired of a Big Bully Bitch's attitude. They give her the beatdown within an inch of her life.

Inspired by the Greek myth. I'm not sure how to catagorize this one - one friend called it fantasy, another called it horror. If anyone has any useful ideas, please feel free to comment.

Casablanca in the thirties was a cosmopolitan sprawl of adventurers and chancers from all corners of the planet; its Wild West feel drew many into its seedy society.
