Post Apocalypse Stories

Survivor of a virulent bio-weapon attack gone wrong tries to figure out what to do with himself and how to best survive. He ends up leading an effort to regroup and restart civilization. I know there are a lot of stories out there like this, I've read all or most of them. This is my take on it.

Adults are always telling Izzy to act like a girl, to be friends with other girls. She'd rather hang out with the boys. She'll figure out who she is and what it means to be a girl her own way.

Much of this originally appeared on finestories.com. It has been through a number of rewrites with some new material as well as many changes to cover where the story now goes. It's post-apocalyptic but is about people not so much as the event. I hope you will like the characters as they engage in living in a new and different world.
