A story set in the Pinwheel Universe
Stanley drops out of agricultural school to join the Navy, and is sent off to a space station known as the Pinwheel to complete his training as a UNN marine, there he meets Raz, an unruly alien who he will be forced to befriend if he wants to complete the program.
This is as coming of age story set in the late sixties. It is a mostly true story with some literary license injected.I welcome any comments or reviews.

Covid ruined a lot of things for students. One of those things was the annual Sadie Hawkins day dance. So parents went to some remarkable lengths to try to make things go as well as they could. In this case, Helen suggested she and her son, Bobby, have the dance at home, and she'd be his date. It was sweet, and then things got passionate for both of them. It was safe to say a cartoon character changed their lives forever.
Based on true events, as the title states, this is a story of the time between a first and second date, in this case, two years. If you're expecting a lot of sex, this isn't the story for you, it'll be there in later chapters. This is mainly a high school based coming of age story, specifically, my coming of age story. Writing is getting resurrected and the story will continue :)
After his father is killed at work, young Billy and his mother get closer, in this first chapter, there's very little sex, but towards the end, they meet up with some people my regular readers may recognize!
