Mind Control Stories

This serves as the introductory chapter to "Sylvia's Misfortunes in Aprico Island." The narrative unfolds the tale of a 32-year-old compassionate and stunning humanitarian aid worker facing adversities after being marooned on Aprico Island, a secluded coastal island in Africa. This prologue, while not overtly explicit, provides context for the subsequent chapters.

Margo is close to 50 and although I'm only 24, she is the one woman I aim to make my own; because I have a score to settle with my Dad. And so I make a Dinner Date for Two at an out of town venue that plays soothing dance music. But will it work when taboos are rife and passion wild? Who knows?

Dan didn't know he was different from the other kids in school, he assumed that everybody could feel the same has he did. It wasn't until he was 6 or so that he finally realised that he was the only one with the gift. It wasn't much of a gift really; he could feel people's moods, without benefit of their visual prompts; he could also make people be aware of his presents. They would turn around in class and stare at him, whenever he wanted them too.

Why does one of the nation's most gifted teachers settle for a moderate salary when he could make so much more? How does he help his students get such great test scores?
