This is a Horror Story (Ghost story) about a girl in college who breaks up with her boyfriend in public and humiliates him and later when she is told that he is in the hospital, dying, she refuses to go visit him, even when he asks for her to come. Month later she moves into a new apartment on the 13th floor and she starts seeing things and enduring frightening experiences which wrecks havoc in her life.
This is a misogynistic fantasy about a California kid who's about to turn 16 and he's nervous. Nervous because of a family tradition from the female side of the family where mom gives him his birthday present. A normal 16 year old might get a car. In this family, the boy children get an education in sex. Every female for generations has been raised to carry on the family tradition and part of that tradition is implied submissiveness.
