Death doesn't work exactly the way you'd think. And La Petit Mort -- a specialist Death -- is having one of the more remarkable days of her career. Note on tags: numerous mentions of death throughout the story. I've tagged it as snuff to be safe, but don't think the death itself is especially fetishized.
