A short quest story set before "King's Magic", but it can be read at any time. Another of my favorites; guess I am just a sucker for a dragon... with romantic problems.

Two people , tired of being chased and pushed into relationships for all the wrong reasons, manage to stumble into each other, and magic occurs, or vaporizes, depending on how you see it.
