A Well-Lived Life Story (9) Part of the A Well-Lived Life universe
This is the continuation of the story told in "Book 8 - Stephie". If you haven't read Books 1 through 8, then you'll have some difficulty following the story. I strongly encourage you to read those before you begin this ninth book. Like the other books in this series, there is a lot of dialogue and introspection. There is also a lot of sex. Book 9 has 82 chapters and about 448,000 words. It's a lengthy read. I hope you'll stick with it! / (Reviews)
The story takes place in the 1800's. A half-breed baby boy is delivered to a childless woman of the plains by a giant eagle. The story starts slow and builds to a time when the half-breed becomes a man. There are many lessons in his life, before he becomes a man. There is racial prejudice & violence as the young man travels. There is romance, humor, and friendship along the way. This is a Traditional Western. If you don't like stories of the 'old west' don't read this story.
magic and magical being's Universe
Having been alerted by allies to a hostile culture the Council of the Wise has decided to take a look as to whether or not this culture is a threat. A team is being assembled and journeyman Mage John asked to go as aide to Mage Roxanne. The threat turns out to be very real, and, rather than just observe, the Mages and their allies are drawn into the conflict against a foe whose numbers dwarf humanity. Story stands alone, but readers of Magician will know the characters better.
