As he gets to know her, his queasiness about her race dissipates and he begins respecting her. They become at first friends and then lovers. Born of two worlds Molly left India for the United States. Her mother American, father native of Mumbai they relocated to Miami, Florida. Enrolled midway in her final year of high school Molly was so lost it was unreal. Impressionable she quickly realized that playing naive got her everything she wanted. Smart meant more than any honor roll. Molly was just plain slick. Maybe she wasn't so lost after all.

Joe McSwain, 12 years old, and his two sisters/wives travel from South Carolina to settle in the far West of 1813. They come to rest in South Alabama and start a farm and a business raising war dogs. They fight Indians, British invaders, local slavers, and empire builders, but they live and prosper as Joe accumulates more wives. The McSwain household grows to be a force in the lives of everyone in this part of Alabama. Join them as Joe and his dogs force civilization onto the savage country.

Meeting in church two young couples become friends and establish a swinging relationship. While looking for an apartment that will make their relationship sustainable, they meet a widow who was involved in a swinging relationship with one of the wives' parents (See All for One and One for All). On their third Christmas, the couples visit the wife's parents where they pursue a familial swap. Before the holiday is over the widow joins the couples and the parents in a swapping party.

Wherein Mrs Cranfield, mourning the departure of her erstwhile lover, Simon, finds consolation - but is left wondering who seduced whom.
