My contribution to the ASSM Historical Challenge. This story is set in Siberia in 1919, depicting the love between two 'comrades' during the Russian Civil War.
A volunteer from the 'Worker's and Peasant's Army' finds a woman in the snow, half dead from hypothermia. Dismissing the suspicians of his comrades, he is determined to discover the truth about this woman. Despite what that truth may cost him.
I was born in 1507 AD. My father was Papantzin, Toltec Chieftain. My mother, an Aztec Princess, daughter of Montezuma II - The man who presented me with the The Warrior's Medallion in 1521 AD when I was 14 years old. I was anointed Warrior of the Ages therefore inherently blessed with the powers of the almighty Aztec God, Huitzilopochtli, God of War and God of the Sun.
Though I have been on this earth for five centuries...

Billy Harris signs on as the scout for a cattle drive headed to Abilene on the original Chisholm Trail in 1867. Along the way, he mostly makes use of his much more popular talent with the ladies, and his men friends learn a few things, too. This is a short story with a lot of shootings, but little of it is gunpowder.
