Bill (Snake) Hartwick is the usual war vet of 1866. He's out of a job and the only solution is to go West. These are his adventures in the army, as a wagon train scout, and as a bounty hunter. Bill is nobody to mess with, as only too many bad guys find out, especially after he takes a partner. He even has some dealings with George Custer, and we all know what happened to him. This story was written without dialect, except where I screwed up.

Carter “Wheels” Ellis doubts that he’ll ever find a wife since he’s a paraplegic. But Nora Guthrie has strong feelings for him, and they begin a powerful romance. Sparks fly between Mayor Carly Branson and male prostitute Ray Stratton despite their mutual hate. Or is it love? Four people come to important crossroads. John Shiply is an ex-Army captain who leads a county militia detail in central Texas in 1857 during the Comanche wars. Their job is to find and kill as many Comanche warriors as they can before the Comanches kill all the Whites in central Texas. Kitty Anderson is a remarkable young woman of 1905 Texas. She shoots an automatic pistol and has learned to drink BEER, though not much at one time. She drives a car and, oh, yes, is a Secret Service agent. She starts out on a big case, tracking down the Knights of the Golden Circle (really, look them up). She's also a Deputy US Marshal, but that's just her cover.

A Sacramento Marshal Story
This is a sequel to "Leaving Independence." Eddy and Martha and the family settle in Sacramento. Eddy becomes a deputy marshal and a business man and Martha becomes a mother. Eddy does have to keep his shotgun handy, and so do the boys.

A young woman, still a teenager, becomes a widow and the Marshal of a small Texas town in the old West. Join her as she fights crime, finds another loving husband, becomes a successful bounty hunter, a mother, and a Marshal again. There are many surprises at Harmony Junction and other places. Imagine what a tough gunslinger thinks when he is arrested by a woman! Except where I goofed, there is no dialect in this story except in some of the dialog. / (Reviews)

Jeff Huston somehow gets flipped back to 1877 in southern New Mexico Territory. He finds that his training as a Marine sniper in Iraq does him a world of good as he lives his new life in the midst of the Indian Wars. His old hobby of Cowboy Shooting is just icing on the cake. The only dialect is in some of the dialogue. This story is in answer to requests for another time-travel Western.
