An Ali Clifford Saga Story (2) Kathy is married to a hero, but now she learns how truly heroic he was. Part of the Ali Clifford saga, parallel in time with Allison. The later chapters -- those recently posted -- are, in effect, a book within a book with its own characters. The reasons for not making it a freestanding book are two. First, it uses many of the same characters. Second, and more importantly, it will clean up some loose ends regarding Kathy Carlson.

This is a simple, character driven romance. It follows Cousin Removed. There are also people and events from Maja's Mom and Science Experiment mentioned. The timeline of stories is, Maja's Mom, Science Experiment, Cousin Removed, Cousins Removed - A New Beginning. This story includes a previously posted story, "Thanksgiving" (modified for clarification) and provides the rest of the story. It is a romance and some may think parts of it are overly sweet. Love does that.
A part of the Bits & Bytes Universe
The "Bits and Bytes" universe was introduced by Asa Strong with his "Bits, Bytes and Life" (BB&L) story, and much of this story takes place at the same government agency in the same time frame. There is more emphasis on computer hardware design. It is also the story of two young engineers. Steve works for the agency, and Sandy works for IBM. Most of the story takes place in Washington (at the agency) or Poughkeepsie N. Y. (at IBM). / (Reviews)
