This is the original concept of the previously posted story. It does not have the violent ending of the first posted version, but nevertheless it is not my usual ending.

It's a Japanese manga series, you might like it, you might not, there's a lot of violence in it (go figure...) but it gave me the idea for this little story, so I hacked out this a while ago. And now, that warning: this story does have more than a little death and violence... so if that's not your thing, skip this one.
