They tell of his pursuit and destruction of an old skin that threatens proof of his immortality. I enjoy immersing myself in his tales as well as in a couple more of his incredibly beautiful angels.
Amanda liked it when Daddy tucked her in, but he didn't do it every night. So she asked her mom if he could tuck her in that night. After asking some questions about what "tucking in" meant, Mom advised her daughter that letting Daddy tuck her in could become very serious business that could have life-changing consequences. So, Amanda decided she should pursue a degree in business... at least the business of being tucked in.
This is one of many of what I call "The Laura Stories". Each of the stories is written as if it were her first time - just something I prefer. This one is about lovely Laura at a film lab with her boss, and they have to work late to get the film done for the next day. It gets hot in a film lab - in more ways than you thought.
