Two thousand years later, an elven lad finds an heirloom in a strange place - the ceremonial hall of his city's Citadel. This story is written with Mack the Knife's blessing, and gives some history to the world of Feldare.

A series of stories based around the Pygmalion myth of an artist who falls in love with his artwork. Each chapter is complete in itself and not dependent on the others.
