A story in the Lucky Jim Universe
Okay, okay. So many readers have suggested that I write a futuristic space-age Lucky Jim that I started several different versions and managed to complete two. This one seems to be the best fit for the Lucky Jim series, although it's a bit different. Space opera set far in the future. While previous Lucky Jims are mentioned, and a general knowledge off the LJ series is helpful, its not necessary to enjoy this story.

The Andersons move in to an old Victorian mansion with a plan to restore it to its former glory. A churchgoing mother, father, and eighteen-year-old twins are blind to the centuries old struggle raging inside the house. One by one, the Andersons fall to the power of the mansion as the nightmares that lurk behind every corner seek to erode the family's innocence.

A married couple with older children reevaluates their marriage and relationships when a threesome with a man and two women moves in next door. They create an open marriage, and then accumulate many other friends and lovers until they too have a plural relationship with two other women and a dramatically different lifestyle that pleases them.
