Lucky Roundtree was born on a ranch in the Texas Panhandle in 1933. His dad works on the ranch which is owned by Mr. Swede Johansson. It's 1950 and Lucky is 17. A story in the Kaire Universe
The start of the second Deviant war begins with an attack of a Kaire colony. Deviants were sick bastards that used other races as entertainment. They would breed or capture them and force them to fight each other like some type of gladiator game. They were a type of Cephalopod that left the water to walk their world, only now they used drones to do everything for them.
Andy is chomping at the bit as spring arrives. The new golfing season is close and the thoughts of his many interesting experiences from last season has him excited and wanting more as he looks forward to caddying. He also will be continuing his lawn care for the summer. He meets one of his teachers, and three of her friends on the course, and ends up caddying for one of them Aliyah. Close friendships develop. Andy's relationship with his sister continues.
